# Chat

The Chat application on Persys is where you talk to your very own local AI LLM!
Your AI chat is completely on-device, meaning it does not go to any cloud or require Internet access.

## Personalities

You can add as many personalities you want using the dropdown in the chats app. Persys is the only personality by default.
When adding a personality, you can specify in the system prompt what kind of personality you want the assistant to have.
You can switch between personalities by simply using the dropdown.
